Supporting Schools

SC Future Minds develops innovative tools and partnerships to reduce costs and improve outcomes for schools:

The “Donate Now” Button

Need more funding for your school or program? Who doesn’t! That’s why SC Future Minds has developed the “Donate Now” button, which allows your school’s supporters to make donations easily online. Principals have used this button to help students that cannot afford graduation supplies, to honor teachers or administrators, and to fund band trips and field trips. We can also provide the technology for district-wide fundraisers such as Color Runs, 5K races, and other fundraisers. Sign your school up for the Button today and start receiving donations immediately!

How It Works
Once a school or district agrees to work with us, we provide the back-end support to add the “Donate Now” button online.  Students, parents, and the community can then simply click to support!

SC Future Minds promotes statewide donations during the Thanksgiving-Christmas holiday season, during May’s Teacher Appreciation Month and during the August Back to School period. We want to help you and your school get the funds it needs to serve your students.

Community Spaghetti Nights

We know from experience that a good meal is a great way to bring families and educators together! Thanks to our generous partner Mueller’s, every single SC public school can receive free pasta for a Spaghetti Night. Please sign your school up here.

Statewide Student Competitions

South Carolina’s students are incredible! Through our “This School’s Got Talent” and “This School’s Got STEM” competitions, we want to highlight the great work of your talented students. Our 2016 winners, “Off the Wall,” performed for you at the Teacher of the Year celebration—will your students be next?! The contest begins in January, so please encourage all of your talented students to enter; please also consider entering your class in our STEM competition. In advance of the 2017 competition season, we’ll be sending posters to every school in the state—please look out for them and help us spread the word!

Spreading the Word

South Carolina Future Minds exists to support the great work of educators and their students. Please send us pictures and stories throughout the year, and we’ll be delighted to share them with our statewide community. Like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter, Instagram or Pinterest. We’ll be sure to follow you back!
