Alana Miller

Lexington Technology Center

She goes above and beyond to care for students. She took the time to help me study for nursing skills to achieve my CNA. Although the class is over she still keeps in touch with every student and make sure they are doing well. She has made a difference in my life and I don’t know where I’d be without the confidence she has given me while being my teacher.

Carol Ann Brown

Lexington Technology Center

Mrs.Brown is the best cosmetology teacher in the state in my opinion. She always goes above and beyond to teach and help us. She stays after hours to finish all the work we do and the hour sheets we complete every few weeks and stays to help us practice and succeed on our state board exams. Wouldn’t know anything I do today if it wasn’t for her being here 24-7 for her students! She truly deserves the world for caring for us so much.

Steven Getz

White Knoll High School

Mr. Getz has made a huge difference in my junior year. I lost motiveation and will power within myself throughout the year because I had been taking very difficult classes. He was my teacher all year and through tough, very very tough love, he made me a better student. I am passing his AP US history class with great grades because he didn’t let me give up. I realized that no one was going to baby me through it, and he taught me how to have tough skin and that had paid off. I owe it to him because without his class I would not be the student, writer or test taker I am today.

Mrs Lett

White Knoll High School

I loved every minute of the class she taught me. Mrs Lett made a difference for me in a way that no other teacher have by helping me and talking to me like I was a regular person, not just a student. Thank you Mrs Lett for everything and I hope everything is going good for you now. THANK YOU!!

Mr. David Oxley

Lexington High School

As Chemistry is a hard class, Mr. Oxley has made Chemistry more enjoyable even when we struggle. He is always willing to help students, like me, and has really made a difference in my learning experience. He is always so enthusiastic even on Mondays and makes class go by so much quicker. Also, when he’s really goofy, he makes class fun.

Robert Bollier

Lexington Technology Center

Mr. Bollier has given me many opportunities to further my education in Agriculture and Animal Science. He has taught me about caring for small animals and what it takes to become a veterinarian. He is the reason why I am now certified in Small Animal Care and will be certified in Veterinary Science. Mr. Bollier selected me to be apart of a Milk and Dairy competition and is the reason why our team won state champion. He encourages me to try new things that will help become a successful vet one day. Mr. Bollier has strengthened my passion to become a veterinarian. In the four years that I have been at Lexington High School Mr. Bollier is the only teacher that has made a significant impact on my life.

Anne Suarez

River bluff high school

My teacher helps me when I don’t understand anything and I would be lost without her helping me every time I need it. Also she still doesn’t give up when I tell her I’m going to show up for help and not due to something happening or me forgetting.
