Larry is a true servant to the students and families of our school. His official title is music teacher, but he uses his gifts and talents to work tirelessly to provide quality music education, plan stellar musical performances, lead parenting classes, and prepares wonderful food for special school events. I am not sure when he sleeps…Larry goes above and beyond for our school. He deserves a great cruise to relax and get some much deserved rest!

McCarthy Teszler School

Nancy teaches Physical Education at a school that serves students with special needs ages 3 through 22. McCarthy serves students in Spartanburg County with all kind of physical, emotional, and intellectual disabilities. Having to plan a day for students with multiple disabilities from autism to orthopedic handicaps where students are mostly immobile in a wheelchair, her day is extremely challenging. No day us the same and no child reacts the same every day. Nancy constantly has to be prepared for anything and flexible

Mr. Larry is #EXTRA in the best way possible. He goes above and beyond for his scholars- Pre-K3-6th grade as the school music teacher planning our musicals but also cooks for the faculty weekly and organizes events for the families of our school- bringing it to their neighborhood. The most generous, kind, thoughtful, selfless man I know.

Patti is starting her 35th year as a Special Education Teacher in Clover School District. This past year she was recognized as Clover High School Teacher of the Year and Clover School District Teacher of the Year. Her focus is totally on inclusion of her students in main stream education and to become successful students and productive citizens in their community. She coaches Special Olympics and leads there program in Clover for the past 35 years. She loves all her students and even tries to assist them post education to help them to be successful. 100% doesn’t express how much time and energy she puts into her students and the Community of Clover, SC.
