Thank you for your generous support of South Carolina Future Minds!

You helped us connect private resources to public schools, communicate the needs of these schools, and champion our educators.

CONNECT – To date our My First Library Program has reached over 2,500 students in fifteen high needs schools across the state and given out over 22,000 books.

COMMUNICATE – We are able to share the needs of our educators to over 50,000 education supporters each month, resulting in an additional $80,000 to districts and classrooms across the state with our award winning donate now button. We were also able to join in the national #ClearTheLists movement and help over 350 teachers get much needed classroom supplies

CHAMPION – We were able to showcase the work of our public-school STEM educators by launching our inaugural STEM Educator of the Year Award. To date we have had over 450 educators who were nominated by parents, administrators and community leaders and we named Warren Wise from Kelly Mill Middle School in Richland 2 as our inaugural STEM Educator of the Year.

How can you help?
We are closer than you think to ensuring every student in South Carolina has a My First Library experience – helping to create a life-long reader and life-long learner. Your tax-deductible gift of any size will make a child’s future brighter.
We are facing a critical teacher shortage – with your help we can help elevate the teaching profession, help retain teachers and recruit new teachers.

  • $120 (or $10/month) sends a teacher to a two-day Summer Leadership Workshop
  • $60 (or $5/month) provides 10 books for a student’s My First Library
  • $ Any amount can help …build a My First Library, champion teachers, communicate the needs of our public schools and build more partner coalitions.

Please join us. Support our FUTURE minds, invest in them now.

With gratitude for your support,

Debbie Jones
